AP Engineering Colleges New Fee Structure 2012-13 AFRC

AP Engineering Colleges New Fee Structure 2012-13 AFRC : 1.Government of Andhra Pradesh has finalized the fee structure for B.Tech course in the 67 Engineering Colleges that have submitted affidavits to Supreme Court regarding implementation of AICTE guidelines on salaries for teaching and non teaching staff. Following are the fee to be collected in those 67 Engineering Colleges. Most of the colleges are located in and around Hyderabad.

2.The fee ranges from Rs 50000 to Rs. 105000. The highest fee is 105000 for CBIT. All the reamininig colleges, other than these 65 will comes under the Rs. 35000 fee category colleges. These fee structure is for the coming two years and applicable for convener quota seats only. The AFRC will review the fee structure after two years and may suggest the new fee structure. EAMCET 2012 Counseling Dates for Engineering on 8th August 2012

EAMCET 2012 Counseling Dates for Engineering on 8th August 2012 : 1.EAMCET 2012 Engineering Counseling dates will come out in two day. The cabinet sub committee which is discussing into the issues of fee and engineering admissions for the academic year 2012-13 has informed that the EAMCET 2012 Engineering counseling dates will be finalized and released on 8th August 2012. In all probability, the certificate verification process will commence after 15th August 2012. There have been some important decisions on fee reimbursement scheme and fee hike in engineering colleges.

2.The cabinet sub committee has met in the Secretariat on 6th August 2012. The decisions of the meeting were informed by the Minster Pithani Satyanarayana. The most important decision is to fill the management seats also through online counseling. There have been some decisions on fee reimbursement scheme.

3.It is proposed that the candidates who are availing fee reimbursement scheme should qualify in the previous examinations with minimum 55 percent marks. It is also proposed that the difference of fee will be paid to the colleges through education loans, in the case of fee hikes in some colleges. The meeting has been decided to form three task force committees on engineering colleges and fix the fee based on the standards set by those committees.

EAMCET 2012 Engineering Certificate Verification Dates After 15th August : 1.The EAMCET Engineering Counseling certification verification on after 15th august notification is likely to be issued at any time. This has been announced by the Chairman of APSCHE (Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education), Prof.Jaya Prakash Rao. He informed that the counseling dates may be decided after the meeting of cabinet sub committee. In all possibility, the counseling may start after 15th August with the commencement of verification of certificates.

2.The cabinet sub committee is likely to meet in a week. And the EAMCET 2012 Engineering counseling date may come out within 4-5 days after the completion of the meeting. There has been undue delay in EAMCET engineering counseling this year as the fee issue has been with the Supreme Court. There are also apprehensions on the relevancy of Management quota in the context of uniform fee structure for Convener and Management Quota seats (Called as A and B Categories respectively).

3.It is also observed that the fee in 133 engineering colleges may go up to Rs. 50000 considering the initial estimations. These colleges were granted permission by the Supreme Court to hike fee after submitting affidavits on the facilities and infrastructure provided by respective colleges. Other colleges will have to follow the old fee structure. It is estimated that the fee in these colleges may go beyond Rs. 1 lakh if unified fee structure is implemented.

EAMCET 2012 Counseling News Uniform Fee for All Seats : 1.The decks have almost cleared for the release of EAMCET 2012 Counseling schedule. The Supreme Court of India on Wednesday supported the High Court of Andhra Pradesh ruling on common fee (Unified fee) for all the colleges and seats in Engineering admissions. The SC has upheld the judgement of AP High Court in 2011 to implement uniform fee and do away with A and B category seats in Engineering admissions.

2.The Supreme Court ruling may pave the way for the announcement of EAMCET 2012 Web Counseling Schedule. The SC also expressed concerns over the implementation of Fee reimbursement scheme for private engineering colleges. If the SC guidelines were followed by the colleges and Government, there is no Management Quota in terms of fee. The colleges have to collect the same fee for Convener and Management Quota seats.

3.On the other hand, managements of several private engineering colleges are demanding to hike the fee. Number of other colleges, which may not have proper infrastructure and facilities have agreed to accept the present fee structure and ready to commence the academic year 2012-13. The Supreme Court also differed with the view of Admissions and Fee Regulation Commission (AFRC) to increase fee considering the increasing of salaries to the faculty and other costs to the management.

EAMCET Medical 2nd Counselling Schedule 2012 For Special Categories 2012: 1.Dr.NTR University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada Andhra Pradesh (AP) has announced Medical Second Phase Counseling notification for EAMCET 2012 qualified candidates. The counseling will be held for admission to MBBS and BDS course for the candidates from NCC, Army (Ex-Servicemen), Sports and Games and Physically Handicapped (PH) Categories. Following is the schedule for certificate verification and counseling:

2.NCC and Ex-Servicemen candidates can attend for certificate verification on 6th July 2012 and Sports and PH categories candidates can attend for the same on 7th August 2012. All the candidates have to attend for the certificate verification only at NTR Health University, Vijayawada. Seats will be allotted to these candidates as per the reservations applicable to various categories.

3.PH candidates with 40-70 percent disability only eligible to participate in the Medical Counseling. NCC reservations has been increased from 0.25 percent to 1 percent as per the GO 141 of Govt. of Andhra Pradesh and the seats will be filled as per the latest guidelines in force. Counseling for Sports category candidates will be held only after the receipt of priority order from SAAP Board (Sports Authority of Andhra Pradesh).
